How your code is protected
Nobody at Citadel reads your code. It is analysed automatically, in a closed environment, then deleted as soon as the analysis ends.
Your code’s journey
- 01
You send it
As a ZIP archive or from your GitHub repository, always over an encrypted connection. With GitHub, Citadel reads the repository; it only writes when you ask it to open a fix pull request.
- 02
It is analysed, with no human involved
The analysis runs in an isolated environment, cut off from the Internet and read-only: the code can’t leave, be modified or run anything outside.
- 03
It is deleted
As soon as the analysis ends, the archive and the working copy are erased. Citadel keeps no copy of your project.
- 04
Only the report remains
For each flaw: the file, the line and the short excerpt involved, with secrets masked. Plus a few statistics (languages, number of lines).
What about Citadel AI?
The assistant only runs when you click “Explain and fix”. It only receives the excerpt of that flaw, secrets masked, never your full code.
